What I love about the change of seasons is also the change of flavors and scents...

Cinnamon and nutmeg now fill the air...

And you can dine inside or outside!

I have a few tips for Fall entertaining.

1. Develop a theme

Developing a theme for your party is fun!  It can be... an ingredient (pumpkin!), a color palette, or as simple as being inspired by Fall foliage from your garden.

2. Serve a Fall drink

Apple cider, pumpkin spice latte, Mexican hot chocolate, pumpkin spice tea... to name a few.

3. Dine Outside

You can start serving appetizers outside and when the temperatures drop in the evening, either bring your party inside or bring some blankets!

4. Always have sweets

Bake a pie, or a cake, or macarons.

If you don't have time to bake from scratch, use a mix. Like I did. I used a pumpkin chocolate chip pumpkin bread mix. Shh! Don't tell!

This way, when your guests come over, the scent of Fall spices linger in the air...
